Boxspan Mezzanine Floors

Solve space and storage problems neatly!

We design mezzanine floors 100 square metres and above for jobs in NSW, ACT and Victoria. All floors are provided with full design working drawings.

Boxspan® mezzanine floors are commonly used in warehouse and factory environments. The floors work in a similar way to upper floor frames in residential construction. Where they differ is the industrial mezzanine and commercial Boxspan® floor frames are designed to support greater trafficable and storage loads. Floors are typically designed to 2kpa (200kg/m2), 3kpa (300kg/m2) to 5kpa (500kg per m2) live load capacities. Mezzanine floors can also be designed for office and retail use.

Why factory owners use Boxspan mezzanine floors

Add Space

Adding a Boxspan mezzanine floor adds greater usable space and saves money by not having to move to bigger premises.

Clear Access

Long-spanning Boxspan floor joists allow for better access under with fewer columns required.

Kit Designed

Boxspan floor frames are supplied as a complete, fully designed, kit system making it quick to install and minimising disruptions.

Neat Finish

Larger Clear Spans

Some mezzanine floors will require larger spans to cater for forklift access or clear working space under. For these applications the Boxspan floor frame system can be easily connected to structural beams and columns to maximise access below. Where floors meet up against factory walls generally a waling plate beam or steel angle is bolted to brick/block walls.
